How Hollywood can ruin an awesome comic character

Well is well known that Hollywood can ruin most of our comics heroes, just like daredevil, captain America and the first ones of Spiderman (Tobey Maguire), so please if you are going turn a comic into a movie, at least make something more interesting and choose better some of the actors, also please don’t change the essence of the script or do not change the real personality of the character.

Abe sapien is one of my favorite characters of B.P.R.D. Yes! The comic is awesome, I love that incredible job from Mike Mignola and all the artists behind it, but… Why Hollywood make Abe sapien a coward with no help???

I’m not saying that Guillermo Del Toro work is not awesome, actually is one of my favorites film directors, and I think most of his movies are amazing, even Hellboy I and II but, why change the Abe sapien character?

Doug Jones Who plays Abe Sapien in Hellboy I and II makes an excellent job with all the makeup and the role play, but he could be more aggressive, just like the real Abe sapien, it’s just disturbing to watch a great movie with a terrible character, that in the original story is the most amazing guy you can see… Hellboy is just fine… BUT WHY ABE!!!

In the comic he is not depending of Hellboy, but in the movie he is a whining baby… Any way I think that after all it’s a great movie, great actors, and great team.
